Rules

Ideally you want 5 players with all worthless skills as your 5 bowlers however I have made batting and WK exempt from this specification and hence BTR will not come into the equation/penalty refer last paragraph.

The overall winner will be decided by whoever has the highest points after the last round of matches. Points will be determined by your position of each of the following ladders.

Top 10 Highest Match Run Rates (includes both teams totals)
Top 5 Highest Team scores (Bonus 2 pts for any score >500, Bonus 1 pt >450)
Top 5 Highest Individual Innings (Bonus 2 pts for any score >250, Bonus 1 pt >200)
Top 5 Highest Batting Strike Rates
Top 7 Most Expensive Bowling Spells (i.e. Highest Economy, Bonus 1 pt for conceding more runs than Mick Lewis, that's 113)
Top 5 Teams who have taken the least wickets
Top 5 Teams with the most wins
Top x Lowest Player Skill Quotient (PSQ) (x=no of teams)

If that sounds confusing it won't after the first round of matches. Basically though if you are one of the two teams who have the highest match run rate after the 7-8 weeks of matches you'll earn 10 points each, second highest gets 9, third 8 etc. on the first 4 lists you can appear more than once whereas the bottom three you'll only appear once.

Bear in mind the team with the most wins only gets 5 points, so it's not just about winning. The emphasis is being in a high scoring match so play all your crappy bowlers on VA and play your good batsman. I'd love to see someone hit 500, I managed 487 I think it was last season.

The last thing I need to explain is the PSQ (Player Skill Quotient).
This is the factor of a player's skill numerically for stamina, conc, bowling, cons and fielding.

So if your guy is all worthless he is 1x1x1x1x1=1 so teams with 5 all worthless bowlers have a PSQ of 5, the lowest you can get.

  Let's look at 3 examples:

  Teddy Eade - 17 yo, BT Rating=46
  Stamina: worthless Wicket Keeping: worthless
  Batting: abysmal Concentration: worthless
  Bowling: worthless Consistency: worthless
  Fielding: worthless

We ignore batting and WK so he is 1x1x1x1x1 = 1

  Jay Ray - 17 yo, BT Rating=35
  Stamina: worthless Wicket Keeping: worthless
  Batting: worthless Concentration: worthless
  Bowling: worthless Consistency: worthless
  Fielding: abysmal

It may be a lesser skill but it still counts so 1x1x1x1x2 = 2

  Aidan Preedy - 17 yo, BT Rating=365
  Stamina: abysmal Wicket Keeping: woeful
  Batting: worthless Concentration: worthless
  Bowling: worthless Consistency: worthless
  Fielding: abysmal

Stamina and fielding abbysmal here so 2x1x1x1x2 = 4
